This piece was commissioned for songwriter/artist Ward Davis. The bow represents several things. First, from TETWP for Ward's generosity. Second, from his fans around the world. Third, from myself as an artist. The arrow it's perched on is a tattoo he has for his girls. The Aspen leaves represent Colorado (one of his songs). The white thread represents his song "Threads" and the white represents his father's lung cancer, whom he lost last year. That is the last and final bow. This is in solidarity to his father. The chorus from "Black Cats and Crows" are etched in the wing. Made from 24 gauge sheet metal, hand textured and shaped. Heat colored and brass coated leaves.
